If you think the Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival attracts only twentysomethings from Broad Ripple, young professionals from Downtown or urban hipsters from Irvington, think again.

The average audience member at Indy’s annual non-traditional theater festival is actually 44 years old, with a couple of degrees, a home in perhaps the St. Joseph or Lockerbie neighborhood, and a household income of $80,000.
