She knows exACTly what she’s doing: giving ridiculous, over-the-top interviews and making no excuse for her ego. At the same time, she’s not pretending to be anything she’s not, and that’s just “pure pop,” as she calls it.

And she’s got a voice, so it’s more than just marketing.
