Bloomington's Art Hospital Collective at Big Car Gallery
If you've ever been curious about what is happening in the regional arts scene, there's an almost effortless way to explore one of those scenes as the Bloomington based creative collective Art Hospital brings their various talents to the Big Car Gallery at the Murphy Art Center. The First Friday opening reception is September 5th , 6 p.m. to midnight. The "Transport Exhibition" remains up until September 26th and features painting, sculpture, live musical scores, video projection and fashion design by members of the Art Hospital gang including: Amy Karr, William Winchester Claytor, Cagri Yildirim, Joe Molinaro, Kate Harlan, J. Shelley Harrison, Mark Rice, Alyssa Elby and Aaron Deer. Music at 8 p.m. with multiple musical scores by Joe Molinaro featuring one with the Good Hands Team. Bands at 10 p.m. with Wee Giant playing a short set to a video projection followed by Beyond Things. This month's music show is the official IDADA after party. www.bigcar.org
