Do you prefer thick and cheesy with elbow macaroni? Browned around the edges? Crunchy topping? Bits of broccoli?

BBQ joint mac 'n' cheese or upscale lobster and brie? Which local restaurants have the best macaroni and cheese?

I prefer Stouffers. As long as there is none of that nasty American cheese in it I'll eat it.

There are two things Americans can't do right: Cheese and Cars.

I disagree, at least about the cheese. Try some of the terrific American chevres. Judy Shad's makes her award-winning Capriole goat cheeses on her farm in southern Indiana. You can get it at Constantino's at the City Market.

There is no one who can make Macaroni & cheese as well as my friend Ann Simms and I can make it.

Shapiro's. Good mac n' cheese, good everything else, good laughs when some unknowing soul tries to order a ham sandwich.

Stouffer's OR Velveeta with the shell-type macaroni.
