Brit pop legends The Moody Blues close the Lawn’s summer music schedule.

The group formed in 1964 as a blues-rock act, but quickly dropped that sound in favor of the orchestral, progressive pop grooves that defined its career. The Moody Blues landed hits on the U.S. charts into the late 1980s, with “Nights in White Satin” and “Your Wildest Dreams” as its biggest singles in the States.

This Midwest premiere of Singer’s play opens the Phoenix Theatre’s 2009-2010 season.
