"Australia" trailer
There's a new trailer out for Baz Luhrmann's "Australia," the new big-time epic period film starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. It looks a little like "Gone With the Wind" by way of "Titanic," only without a boat, and, you know, there's no Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable or Leonardo DiCaprio for that matter. And there's no boat. And it's not set during the Civil War, or in the South (though I suppose Australia is pretty far south in relation to where we are).
Oh, and no icebergs, or silly manservants shooting at the young couple in love. And no Billy Zane, no Bill Paxton, and I'm guessing no submarines.
Okay, so maybe you should just judge the film on its own merits:
