Art of the Day vol: VII

Joe Sorren

One of my long time favorite artists has some amazing new paintings on his website. He has always had this ability to work with the lighting in his paintings that truly bring them to life. He also has these characters that are so bizzare and unique it is as if he has never looked at another painting or human or animal and he just picked up these brushes and paints and started making these bizzare little worlds.

oh, hurrah! i've been a joe sorren fan since I happened upon it online a while back - great dreamlike quality transfers over through all of his work.

Trippy! I like the zoomify feature he has going on to get a close up look too. Thanks for sharing.

Zoomify is the best! It's a new feature on the Photoshop CS3! So sweet. You "export with zoomify" and it creates all the html coding and pieces to make it ZOOMIFYABLE! good stuff!
