Am I the only one tired of the debates?

It's not like I don't care, really. I am very concerned about the next president and the economy and all of that stuff, but it is getting to the point where I can spout off the rhetoric better than they can.

I had to laugh watching the debate last night. Obama has got his story down. His line is the same everywhere, "We can't afford four more years." and McCain...well I don't know what it is about that guy because he has no stage presence what so ever! Yet he said I don't know how many times last night something about "Cronie-ism". Is this even a word? And poor Tom Brokaw who just coulnd't get these two to understand the time limitations for the debate! Considering they kept saying the same things over and over, you would think both would have their timing down a little better.

Personally I don't know who won and who didn't and the longer this goes on, the more I don't care. Niether one of them can specifically tell anyone how to get out of this mess we are in and I am constantly amazed at how many ways they answer a question and yet, don't answer it.

What did everyone else think?

I agree with everything you just wrote. I could not have articulated it better myself. There were two other things that I really got tired of hearing and they were both from the mouth of McCain.

1) Thank you for that question. 2) my friend(s)

I know these things are probably his way of wooing, and he was more than likely coached to say them, but it really had the opposite effect on me.
