Accuride Corp. files for Chapter 11 restructuring

Evansville — Accuride Corp., a manufacturer of steel and aluminum wheels based in Evansville, said Thursday it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization as part of a widespread debt restructuring. The vehicle components supplier maintains that all operations continue to operate “business as usual” and that it will pay its trade creditors in full. Accuride’s Canadian and Mexican subsidiaries are not included in the bankruptcy filing. (Star report)

Health campus opens Carmel-based Jackson Commercial Real Estate and Community Health Network opened the $20 million Hamilton Healthcare Campus on Thursday at the southwest corner of 146th Street and Cumberland Road in Noblesville. Community Health Network is leasing 40,000 square feet of the 122,000-square-foot building. The site has an additional 8,200-square-foot building. Physicians’ offices, a MedCheck urgent-care center, imaging service, rehabilitation and sports medicine providers, and a conference center for patient education and community groups are in the buildings. Republic taps Menke Sean Menke, who most recently served as president and CEO of Frontier Airlines, has been named executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Indianapolis-based Republic Airways Holdings, which completed its $108 million acquisition of Frontier on Oct. 1. N.C. project bankrupt An unfinished high-profile construction project in Charlotte, N.C., affiliated with Indianapolis-based Flaherty&Collins has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Charlotte FC LLC filed the bankruptcy proceedings Friday in Indianapolis over the partially constructed 48-story 210 Trade, spokesman Mark Conover said Thursday. Conover said the Chapter 7 filing “only involves that project” and doesn’t affect other parts of the company, including the Indianapolis retail-residential complex Cosmopolitan on the Canal.
