This is all entirely hypothetical, of course. I'd never discuss such sensitive matters in public. But let's say, for the sake of argument, that you've been seeing someone for about a month, and you're arse over tea kettle in love. The dew is still fresh on the vine. The rose has not yet wilted. All is right with the world. Most of your relationships last about a month, so you're amazed that this one appears poised to make it over the hump. You really hope you defy history by not finding some way to screw things up.
You'd like to do something extra special for this girl, but the last time you opened your wallet it actually laughed at you. Does anyone have any ideas for something terribly romantic that a bloke could do in this situation? What are some things you've done in the past? Please share.
i'm not going to lie, i'm broke and cheap as hell, so i always try to find things to do for little cost as possible. bad thing though, is that my guy is the same way! ha ha! BUT, what about a picnic in a park or walk along the canal? as i understand it, some nights there is music on the canal. or maybe a first friday gallery tour? these are things we like to do. also, if you're just looking for a casual date, join the "5 buck club" at keresotes(sp?); they send you a list each week of movies you can go to for only $5 a pop. ...i guess those aren't super romantic, but they are fun
I'm broke because I'm not cheap. "Squander" is my middle name. Drinky Squander McGee. I like your suggestions. BUT I NEED MORE!!! Help a brother out, people.
Take your girl to church, and try to catch a buzz off of the communion wine.
Man, I've tried that. They don't serve seconds.
go to a wine tasting night at easley's...they do serve seconds
