You know, this season has been one of those great storybook kind of seasons. The Colts have managed to hold off opponents even when they've come off of a somewhat unfair schedule of two road games on a short week against an unfamiliar opponent. But regardless of the challenges, the Colts have stayed ahead of the pack and has dominated the games for a majority of the four quarters. Patience is really our game. We don't get flustered or emotional if we get a little behind. This is going to be the key to this week's game against the New England Patriots. All eyes will be on these two undefeated teams.
We will likely have our key starters back that were injured this week like Keaho, Ugo, and Harrison. Boy will we need them. Their defense will be gunning for Manning and ours will be no different as we seek to destroy Brady. They key here is protecting our quarterback and rushing theirs. If we can keep them from having the time to create the big plays and we can cover them on the short passes, we will be the decidedly dominant team in this week's showdown. Plus, one thing the Patriots don't have is Bob Sanders, our key playmaker who strikes fear into the hearts of any offensive player.
So let's see these Colts go 8-0 and push the Patriots to 8-1. We've go the team to do it this year and it would be good to serve up a slice of humble pie to the very selfish and unsportsmanlike Patriots.
