Tonight, June 5th, in Fountain Square, on the ground floor of the Murphy Arts Center, there is a mixer for the Second Story, a grassroots creative writing program for school kids in Indy. The Second Story will be a creative and inspirational resource for school administrators, teachers, parents and--- most importantly--- for kids. Thursday's mixer features acoustic music with Beat Debris and Adam Kuhn playing as well as Real Live Tigers -- a great band from Austin. Starts at 7 with music at 8. You can also participate in an interactive writing/installation exhibit called WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT? where you are asked to answer questions like "What's the nicest thing anybody ever called you?" on sticky notes and put your answers on the wall. www.secondstoryindy.org
