I'm a huge fan of Bob Dylan and an avid reader (especially when it comes to anything Dylan related) so I was quite pleased to see an article on NPR titled Suze Rotolo: Of Dylan, New York and Art. I've yet to get my hands on the book but it's supposed to be about life in New York and with Dylan in particular around the time he first moved to NYC. Rotolo and Dylan were a couple for some time when Dylan transplanted to the city, and she was a major force in introducing Dylan to art, literature and politics. Suze is best recognized as the woman walking arm in arm with Dylan on the cover of 'The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan', but is also mentioned in many of Dylan's songs. Has anyone read this yet? A book review may be in store!
The library says its called "A Freewheelin' Time"---I got in line to check it out (#22 on the holds list)---thanks for the tip.
