That's kind of sad. Even as my kids got older and moved on to other PBS shows, we'd still tune in now and then to Mr. Rogers to see what was happening in the neighborhood of make-believe. It was probably comforting for kids to see the same faces. And it was a welcome segment of quiet talking in the midst of louder, flashier shows.
