Why do we not have an In N'Out Burger here? I've been to some very nice restaurants in L.A., but my best dining memories are always from In N Out. If you've never had a double-double, you are missing out. If you HAVE enjoyed this establishment, please write to the corporate office and beg them to come to Indiana.

They have amazing food here. And best yet, unlike other fast food places, the employees peel fresh potatoes to make their french fries. I am pretty sure they are only in the Southwest. Fresh Food? That's too healthy of a concept for the Midwest.

A. In N Out Burger is family owned and rumor has it that once the founders pass away (there's been a countdown for a long time because they're elderly) the granddaughter inherits the franchise and will take it nationwide.

B. whether you want to believe it or not, Indianapolis has the single, greatest In N Out rip off restaurant in the history of mankind. It's called 96th Street Steakburger. It is nearly identical. When I first moved here I had heard they were sued by Steak N Shake because of the name. This proves 2 things - 1. the owners of Steak N Shake are complete morons and 2. the owners of In N Out haven't heard about 96th Street because otherwise they'd sue big time.

So for now, you'll either have to go to California (not just LA, they have 'em in San Fran and other locations), Vegas (there's always a reason to go to Vegas) or Baltimore/DC (think that's where the founders were from).

Yeah I wouldn't bet on it ever coming here. Just go to 96th Street Steakburgers. It's just as good in my opinion. I liked In N Out a lot but some people make it out to be the greatest restaurant known to man which is a little overboard.
