I won this $100 iTunes gift card last month, for which I'm eternally grateful (or at least grateful until the $100 runs out). I'd like to utilize it to create the greatest compilation of music in the history of music. Which is my way of asking ya'll to tell me what your favorite songs are. Any genre, any time period. Help a brother out.

I would recommend buy the Whats You Medium Album by The Medic Droid. They are a new band out of Arizona, the record is like 9 tracks and only 6.99 on itunes. Pretty good deal, because the whole album is great.

I've got too many favorite songs to list, but here are a few gems you may or may not already have in the archives. They span a few different genres and era's (Hip-hop, rock, folk, soul, punk):

Sam Cooke - A Change is Gonna Come
Rolling Stones - She's a Rainbow
State Radio - Keepsake
Archer Avenue - Jolene, We Almost Never Met (probably not on iTunes)
Margot & the Nuclear So and So's - Dress Me Like a Clown
The Format - Dog Problems
Gangstarr - Above the Clouds
The Pharcyde - Passing Me By
Sade - No Ordinary Love
Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World
Paul Simon - Slip Slidin' Away or Mother And Child Reunion
Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet
The Misfits - Hybrid Moments
Weezer - Across the Sea
Millencolin - Otis
Bon Iver - Skinny Love
The Outfield - Your Love
Burl Ives - Down in the Valley
The Roots - You Got Me

Nice randydaytona. I was listening to someones playlist on last.fm and that Flobots song JUST finished right before I opened this post. I had never heard it before, but liked it so I added it to my last.fm playlist. Speaking of which, that would be where a lot of my favorite songs are. All kinds of genres. Check it out here:

I don't think Drinky likes cocaine enough to like Mickey Avalon.

True enough. Drinky doesn't like being quite that active.

Never said that. You just REALLY have to be into cocaine for Mickey Avalon. I saw the show. He likes coke more than Dr. Rockso.
