Finally I can talk about it - the IndyCar series announced yesterday the race in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). The Race will be July 24-26 this year! The Race will come on the tail end of two annual week-long public festivals - Edmonton's Capital Exhibition and A Taste of Edmonton.

It's a road course and it sounds like it should be a pretty good event. The contract is through 2010. I see it being about like the St. Pete Race.

With Andretti Green Racing taking over the event in Toronto I think you can almost count on 2 Canada racing on 2009. But nothing official on that yet, clearly.

I wonder if the Canadian Dream (Marty Roth) will be there?
