So, if you had to choose between an arts or culture venue to attend/support, or a sports venue to attend/support, which would you select? Thank you for your replies!
Sorry, but this question is too broad. It presupposes that a screechy karaoke event is on par with an Indianapolis Colts game, or that a two-minute 100-meter dash is on par with viewing at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. People who like the arts and sports are not necessarily mutually exclusive. I attend/support both, with the expecations of quality affecting my decision.
This either/or syndrome has really skewed the way we think. Evidence: the local vs. chain arguments for restaurants, Democrats vs. Republicans in politics, etc. You know, there are good and bad local restaurants, just as they are politicians of either party whom I wouldn't vote for.
If you really want to be independent, don't box yourself. Why should I choose one when I can have two, or for that matter why limit myself to the two choices?
Sports, "arts/culture" suck and are a waste of $$$
