These guys (same guys, same article as the "Red Dawn" remake) also say a redux of "Robocop" is in the works.
This pretty much speaks for itself.
All I have left are three words: Please. God. No.

My favorite line from that was when Clarence Boddicker threw "Bobby" out of the back of the truck when the cops were chasing them (he'd been shot in the leg and Clarence chucked his body out the back to slow them down).
The line was: "Can you fly, Bobby?"
If I remember right, this happened just before they took down Murphy.
