Is anyone going to the Asian Festival and Exhibition this weekend? It's at the Garfield Park Arts Center.

It should be a blast

Thanks for pointing this out nastynate. This does look like a good time plus it's free. Perhaps somewhere I can take my mom for mother's day weekend.

Here's the event description, from the calendar listing:

Festival marks the 105th birthday of the Asian-inspired pagoda, which serves as the event's centerpiece. Food, cultural entertainment and activities and merchandise from vendors from China, Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia, Thailand, India and Indonesia. Fine artwork and cultural regalia from local Asian artists are on display at the Garfield Park Arts Center. Scholarships will be presented to IPS students and Asian-American leadership students throughout the day. Bridal fashion show, featuring bridal clothing unique to each Asian culture. Held in conjunction with the Asian Pacific-American Heritage Month. Presented by the Asian American Alliance and Indy Parks & Recreation.
