Shepherd's Song

Oh Shepherd, where is thy staff? Amongst the wolves I brave to tread, yet I hear thee not! Doest thou not know my soul? I am weak in spirit, and I crave the calling of your voice! Tell me oh Great One what you would have of me, and grant me the strength to carry out your command! Time draws ever nigh to that appointed day when you shall tire of your patience with even the best of souls.
There approaches a day when the sky shall split open and the seas divide! In the darkness of that hour, I know you shall be! Remember me O Great One and know that the sum of my being shall be according to that which you command, and I shall become for you a beacon, a sign! I shall draw all whom you choose to the sound of my voice, which shall indeed be a reflection of your will! How is it that you have looked upon one such as me? How is it that you have graced one such as me with your love? How is it that you forgive the weaknesses of my flesh? Greater men have come before me! I well know that I am your chosen instrument, and you play the song according to your choice. I pray that my melody brings great rejoicing and strengthens the souls of the weary and brings joy to the heart of the saddened. You have warned of the time, and the time is now! Open the eyes of those who have not seen and let them gaze upon the fulfillment of your WORD! You have promised and your WORD is everlasting, having been made incorruptible! I am The Sage, and I sing the Song of Salvation...make my voice heard!
