Living downtown is relatively really cheap and you can get pretty far on foot.
This is so John Cusack - High Fedelity. I'll count it down D. Letterman style.
10) Hunt Club Labradors (innocent plug, honestly, I just love my dogs)
9) St. Elmo's Shrimp Cocktail (more horseradish please!)
8) Broadripple (is it cliche' for this to be on the list?)
7) 30 minutes to just about anywhere (anywhere you really need to go)
6) Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter (is that 1 or 4?)
5) We're a little bit country (and that keeps us grounded)
4) Peyton Manning (without him we wouldn't have a new stadium)
3) Great Public Golf Courses (we have a course called Purgatory, how sweet is that!)
2) Cost of living (Just talk to someone from a coast and explain to them what $500,000 will buy you here. Then watch their jaw drop.)

ok so food is critical!!!! And Indy has good food!!

1 I can live, work, eat, and get stupid all within a 2 mile radius.
2 I love my friends that have not left for LA, yet.

hmmm How could I forget Luna records. So check this out John Mayer played at Luna! Camper Van Beethoven played there! Ron Sexsmith! and the list goes on and on. In an economy where people predict the demise of CD's - here is an Indianapolis based record store that keeps growing. The secret sauce? Todd Robinson and his band of dedicated music heads! Its community and music. Like yats is community and food. Besides how many local originals can say they've been called a noteworthy place to buy records or listen to music! Ok that was quite the luna rant huh.
