With the Primary Election coming up on May 6, the Barack Obama Campaign is urging voters across Indianapolis to Get Out the Vote. The local hip-hop community has responded in force! Grass-roots organizers are staging a Get Out the Vote Concert on Friday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Twilight Sentinels, Philosophy Lynda Sayyah, and Class of '93 headline this event, which takes place in front of Applebee's Restaurant at 1072 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. There is no cost for admission to this event, but the organizers are asking for a $15 donation to the Barack Obama Campaign. Sign-up forms will also be available for those who want to volunteer for Get Out the Vote activities.
