There's an art parade happening in Fountain Square at noon on Saturday April 26th. About 50 floats, rolling installations and moveable assemblages will strut their creative stuff in this unique exhibition organized by the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Artists participating include Francis Alys, Paul McCarthy, Jeremy Deller and Amy O'Neill (I don't think that means that these artists will actually be walking around Fountain Square, but they will definitely have works on display). The morning of the event, there will be a workshop for families or individuals to make their own parade projects. Materials will be provided at the Fountain Square Public library for free and these creations will be automatically entered into the parade.
