Sum 41, Yellowcard, Chevelle and Jon McLaughlin are some of the musical acts scheduled to perform on practice and qualification days next month at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
As previously announced, the reunited Stone Temple Pilots will play the annual Carb Day concert May 23 at the track.
The 92nd Indianapolis 500 is scheduled May 25, when piano-pop act Jack's Mannequin will perform on the Coke Zero Stage in the IMS Pagoda Plaza.

The price of track admission includes access to these performances. For qualifying days and Carb Day, admission is $10. For practice days, $5.
Stone Temple Pilots will perform on the infield near the Hall of Fame Museum. All other acts will play the Coke Zero Stage.

Rock band Linkin Park will perform Aug. 17 at Verizon Wireless Music Center, 12880 E. 146th St. The band's fifth "Projekt Revolution" tour also will feature appearances by Chris Cornell, Hawthorne Heights and Ashes Divide. Tickets ($70.75, $64.75 and $50.75) go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Rock band Journey will perform Sept. 10 at Verizon Wireless Music Center. Heart and Cheap Trick also will appear. Tickets ($79, $53.50 and $33.50) go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Singer-songwriter Teddy Geiger will perform July 9 at the Music Mill, 3720 E. 82nd St. Tickets ($18, or $16 if purchased in advance) go on sale at noon Friday.
Tribute band Lez Zeppelin will perform June 13 at the Music Mill. Tickets ($15) go on sale at noon Friday.
"America's Got Talent" competitor Cas Haley will perform June 18 at the Music Mill. Tickets ($15, or $12 if purchased in advance) go on sale at noon Friday.
Pop vocalist Raven Symone has postponed a tour that included a June 4 visit to Conseco Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania St. According to the venue, it's unknown if a makeup date will be scheduled. Ticket refunds may be obtained at the point of purchase.
Comedian Bill Cosby has canceled two performances May 11 at the Murat Theatre, 502 N. New Jersey St. Ticket refunds may be obtained at the point of purchase.

Alright finally my hat goes off to the IMS and tony george!! I didn't think he would ever be able to top Kid rock and Saliva last year but he has! he really over did himself this year. Sum 41, yellowcard, chevelle, and STP all in one month! damn.
Can't wait for STP on Carb Day! I'm glad they moved Carb Day to Friday this year. Only $10 for the whole day.
