Were you awake for our mini earthquake this morning? Did it wake you up? I thought it was a giant raccoon on my roof for a moment.

I wasn't awake when it started, but I was awake by the end! Apparently my pup isn't a fan of earthquakes...
Yup, it woke me up. The USGS is saying it was a 5.4 magnitude tremor centered near West Salem, Illinois.

I was in my office walking down a hall and saw the walls shaking. Quite weird.
Woke me up in Indianapolis this morning! Weird! Thought I was losing my mind when I heard the dresser moving and the bed was rocking. I thought someone was under my bed and leapt across the room and turned on my light in one fell swoop. Ran out and grabbed the phone to call 911! LOL
I was mad! I was in my car driving! The dj's were talking about it and they weren't sure if it was one or not so I started flipping stations and all the dj's were talking about it so I figured it must've been one if everyone experienced it.
Ha, I thought it was my dog wagging his tail or trying to get under the bed, I called for him and he was in the living room...then I though it was a ghost...cause those are more common than Earthquakes in Indiana.
I guess I slept through it... this website was my friend in Cali!

I was in the tub; when a cast iron bathtub starts shaking, you gotta figure it's an earthquake.
I was lying on the couch when we had one in, what, like 1987? Felt pretty similar to that one.
I felt nothing but I was in the shower.I couple of things had fallen off a shelf in my kitchen. When I turned on the tube,I realized that it was an earthquake and not me stumbling half asleep.
Did I just feel an aftershock at 11:15 a.m.?

there was one in 2002 i think that was from evansville, i felt it in cbus at the time it was a cool experience.
It woke me up this morning. I swear there was one the other night, but maybe I was dreaming about it before it happened. I didn't feel the aftershock though.

I thought the same things as you! freaky! I thought it was my dog shaking the bed as well (she does shake the bed when she wags her tail, scratches herself or gets really into licking her butt). Then the second thought that popped into my head was ghost! Then I fell back asleep.
