Are you porch-proud?

Indianapolis is a town full of porches. I have one, my neighbor has one, my friends all have them. But I very seldom use the porch in front of my house. It has cute, comfy chairs, a little table, and sits on a relatively quiet street, but I just can't get in the habit. Ideally, this newly nice weather could help me break the habit of porch avoidance.
Do you use your porch? If so, when, what for?
I'd really love to have someone besides our smoker friends enjoy the big concrete slab in front of my house!

A porch is a wonderful place to play beer traffic. Too bad I moved onto a cul de sac, it's really put a hurt on the game.
get a swing and sit and be sappy with your sig. other. I have a nice porch, but i need me a swang!
somehow our porch became the local hangout for neighborhood cats. I'm not sure what the draw is, maybe it's the good lighting for warmth. When the cats aren't taking over, I love eating outside, soaking up the sun, reading a good book, and otherwise people-watching.
