"Your true colors are shining through"

I wanted to know about everyone's opinion about being gay/lesbian in a big city and in a small town. What is your story? I want to know the good and the bad. Who helped you come out? Are you a part of a group to help gays and lesbians to promote awareness of equal rights? My parents are gay, and I have always supported them. I have pushed them to be proud of who they are. I live the gay life with them because they are my life. I would love to be a part of a group to help kids that are going through being gay or having gay parents in the area.
