I work in an office where the marketing team is evenly divided between males and females. All the males on our team purchased nerf guns, and randomly throughout the work day you will hear gun fire and find co-workers crouching in your cubicle (yes, they've upgraded to what appears to be semi-automatic warfare). It's funny at times, unless you're on a call with a client who thinks it sounds like you're in the middle of an employee gone crazed incident. Anyway, the ladies of our team would like to bring in an equally "annoying" gadget to get back at the "boys". Mature, yes? For such a creative marketing team, we're at a loss for a strategy. Any ideas? What would get the guys equally disrupted or annoyed at work?

I have a better one. The screaming monkey. You pull its hands (on rubber bands) and it flies. When it lands it makes a horrendous monkey noise. I'm not sure where to get them - I got one for x-mas.
All of these have great potential. Maybe it will be a combined attack of water, turds, and horrendous rubber band monkies. Thanks for the feedback!
For my money, nothing is more annoying than the Staples "That was Easy" button. Hit it. Every. Time. You. Finish. A. Sentence.
Also annoying is the "Annoyatron" - http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/8c52/ - their description will fill in the rest on that.
Finally, clever replacement of computer/headphone cables is a perfect gag, especially on any that prize themselves as computer savvy. If you get a stereo cable extension at Radio Shack, use it to plug someone elses headphones into your computer while they are at lunch, then start choosing their song list for them. I had someone do it to me with an iPod, and I spent a good twenty minutes trying to figure out why my audio playing apps on the computer were broken. Similar tricks can be done w/ mice / keyboards.

I don't know, women are pretty annoying to begin with with their constant trips to the bathroom (in groups), endless office gossip, and their innate need to spoil the fun of men whenever they see them happy.
Ah, so I should just be my little annoying self all day long and I can ruin the fun! Excellent! Mwahaha. I'll make sure to take extra breaks to the bathroom today and rally all my female co-workers.
On my end, maybe I was actually more jealous of the fun than trying to put an end to it. I was trying to join in while at the same time upping the ante. Since this post we have purchased rubber band monkeys, and every one on the team finds them equally fun and annoying.
