I'm lucky that my mushroom-hating sister has a co-worker who, despite his very secret spot, is happy to share in the season's bounty. Since the sister doesn't want them, her guy and I split the morels the co-worker gives her. Has it been a good year? Should I be expecting a lot or just a little?

I love to Mushroom HUNT!!! I usually go to Brown county, but the gas is too high to just go all the time - where do you like to go hunting.

Too early to tell if it will be a good year. I go to my home county(Brown)almost everyweekend. I hope we have a good year for shrooms.Last year I found several pounds.

I don't really have a spot...I used to live out in the country and go in private woods that belonged to neighbors. These days I have to use public land...so I stick to state recreation areas and state parks. There are a lot of other people hunting those same areas, however, so you don't find nearly as much usually.

I need to buy myself a parcel of wooded land down south one of these days...the property taxes would probably kill me though.

I don't know any spots since they built up Geist.
