Do you like the best-selling author Dean Koontz? I've only discovered his work this year, though he's been writing for ages. I like his newer stuff better than the old stuff. I really like 1st Odd Thomas book (though by the 3rd one it was too much). The darkest Evening of the Year was also great (dog lovers ya gotta read this - especially if you like Golden Retirievers).
Dean Koontz has some great ones... i really like dragon tears, intensity, by the light of the moon, and survivor.... but i've read about 10 of his and have never really been dissapointed!
man this guy is more demented than Stephen King imo, I used to read a lot of his stuff when I did read, haven't read any of his stuff in some time.
How about some more recommendations?
Lisa Scottoline (1st one is Everywhere that Mary went) Navada Barr (Track of the Cat) Most all Steven King (especially the Stand, Lisey's Story)
