I attended the Ryan Adams show last night. The band was as tight as any I've ever heard. Always on the edge of your seat not knowing if the band was tuning or launching into a song. The band followed Ryan's lead every time. He seemed to be in good spirits. I've come to accept that there will be a minimum 1% jerk factor in the audience. Not sure why people pay good money to be an ass, but it happens every show. I was more annoyed by all the people getting up to use the bathroom and get more drinks.
A better job awaits

The 45 minute delay because he was shopping at the mall wasn't annoying?
Or the 20 minute break after an hour of music?
Or changing his shoes on stage? Or indulging hecklers by responding rather than playing? Or the extended pauses between songs where the band was doing nothing but mucking around?
We must have different definitions of annoying.

See my comments to your review. I agree Ryan's antics aren't for everyone. I also agree he's no Axl Rose. Ryan can still write a decent song!
