So being a female that spends a lot of time in public places, I always wonder why women can't sit on the toliet to piss? Can you actually get a disease from sitting or am I wiping off other womens piss for no reason?

I don't understand that either. I worked retail for two years, and we had to use the same restrooms as the customers. Every time I went in there I had to wipe the toilet seat off to go to the restroom. It was always a mess, and I never understood it. Personally, I like to sit down and relax for a minute. I consider it break time. I did see an episode on TV about myths, and they said that the toilet seat itself has a lot less germs on it then the sink. So, I say, "sit down and relax."

It's comforting to know that women can't hit that hole either. I had no idea.

I always heard you could get diseases and ...I don't know, like lice or something from a toilet seat. (Is this just a myth?) I don't know why more businesses can't provide toilet seat covers for their female customers.

I hate toilet seat covers. I end up sliding around the seat. Hahahaha I heard you could spread crabs from sitting on a toilet seat, but you don't hear about that much anymore. It's better to wipe the seat with toilet paper really good, and you shouldn't have any worries.

My best friend is a 'squatter' and I think it is the strangest thing... I just wipe and go... squatters that miss annoy me!

I had no idea anyone else called them 'squatters' too - how fantastic

I call them 'hoverers.' You know urine is sterile, right? The door handle is probably germier than the seat. I use the bathroom for what it was intended, I wash my hands and get out. I have bigger issues to worry about than getting an STD from a toilet seat...but I do avoid tractors. I've heard you can get gonorrhea.
