Awesome Neighbors

Our neighbors across the street are constantly doing odd things that keep us amused. Right now one one of the household is outside edging the sidewalk with a broom and shovel. It is 11.28pm. He did this last season too, only it was around 2am. Also, despite the "No Parking" sign directly outside of their front door they are often parked in front of their house (we live on a VERY busy street)usually with the car still running so that they can run outside half an hour later to back it up and park it in the designated spot. There are many other examples that I'm too tired to think about right now because the sound of the shovel is keeping me up. Do you guys have any good neighbor stories.
I once was the neighbor that had to keep the car running for at least 15 minutes before I could safely drive my car. So if I can give you anthing I hope is that there is a possibility that they may have to choice in the matter!
Neighbors across the street like to blast their hip hop music, and when their friends visit they will leave the car on with the music blaring and NO ONE is in the car.....amazing.
Also the neighborhood kids like to play b-bal in front of my house when there is the park just down the street with professional hoops....ugh, I can't wait to move back to the Southside.
I once had neighbors who apparently were too drunk or stoned to watch their kids. Finally, their little girl (probably about 3 or 4) climbed out the front window and was running up and down the street in her pajamas. I called the cops and Child Protective Services. CPS was out there for months after that - it did my heart good. Mind you, I have NEVER called on a neighbor before about anything. I b*tch to myself but mind my own business. But THIS time! Enough was enough...
