Ok, so I know we have Angie's List and Craig's List and the once a year Best of Worst of list, but what about an ongoing list of the worst of the worst. Seriously, I don't know about anyone else, but I like a little warning before I take a chance on a crappy meal, or bad hair cut, or worse yet if I just can't make it home or to the home of someone that I know nearby......the deadly public restroom. For example,(in my opinion)the worst public restroom that I've encountered is at the Flanner House Library. Um, yes, you have to add IN MY OPINION, because someone will get all tight in their bottom side and want to scream slander when THEY know darn well it's the truth. But HEY, everyone is shouting politcal correctness and all that blah blah. So anyway, what do you say Indy??? Got any worst of the worst? Heck, you can even confirm someone else's worst. I'm sure at least two of us have had a bad experience at the same place at one point.

Um yeah. Can I just say that NO ONE...NO ONE should ever go to the International China Buffet on E Washington and I465. Service is terrible, food is nasty. Its just not worst the gas, to drive or after the meal.

I've got a bone to pick with parents that think it okay to take your child to Hooter's at anytime. There's just something wrong with the picture. That's too mature a place for children. Come on "PARENTS" please have some kind of respect.

I hear ya Me1st79, my brother likes to take his kids there, I just shake my head at him.

Worst restroom I can think of would probably be Bentley's back in the early 90's on Thompson road, man I can't even tell you or if you would even want to know what was on the floor shudders

Golden Corral on E. Washington. Last time I was there the floors were dirty, greasy, yuck! And don't even get me started on the bathrooms. To be fair it was a long time ago and they might have gotten better, but every time I drive by the "Golden Trough" I shudder.

OH I'm going to say that there have been NO CHANGES to GC on Wash. I would suggest to stay as far away as possible. And OH MY BOB@ the images going through my head about what was on the floor@Bentley's. VOMIT.

How about worst customer service.........hmmm (in my opinion) that would be Family Dollar ANY of them. And of course, any telephone service or utility payment center. Talk about BS when there's a problem, but they are peaches and cream when it's time to pay the bill.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the time I went to Walmart and some moron informed me that it was not her department and she was not going to get anyone to assist me. Sorry for HER luck that day because I know how to have an attitude TOO! Maybe she should find a job more suited for her needs since customer service is certainly not it.

Actually, on this website it would be libel, not slander. Slander is spoken and libel is written.

Thanks for the correction.

OK, so my favorite phrase for the season is as follows:

"It is the sound of Spring clinging to our sighs."

Me1st, I'm sure YOU would know who the author of this phrase is :-)

Go to Yelp.com

Write a review of any business, restaurant or not.

And add it to your own list...

Best of, worst of, whatever list you choose.

I love Indy.com but you have a lot more uhm... freedom to say what you want!

Mkimmy gets my vote for post of the year, how could i forget Walmart and the "customer service" people.....heck has anyone tried to use Directory assistance lately? What language are they speaking? Ohhhh Don't get me started.

At least you got through to Directory Assistance. Has anyone received the forever-never-answer-eternal ring??? Talk about a waste of time. Kind of like calling 911 and being placed on HOLD. Oh Walmart is not the only one with Customer (dis)service. I have given up on Chase (away the customers) bank. What a load of crap@ well trained tellers. My 7 year old niece can make change for ten dollars in less time than it took the teller to understand, "Please, give me back 4 5's, 2 10's, & 1 10 in change rather than two 50's" I must have been speaking dumminiese because it took longer than it should have taken anyone who has passed the 2nd grade.

The worst of the worst: (in my opinion) The foulest smelling store would be ALL of the Double 8 (previously 7-11) stores. I think it is a requirement that these stores stink! The job application for the manager must include adequate funk control as part of the training. They stink OUTSIDE of the building.

A new business gets my vote for worst furniture store, The Room Place on 31 in Greenwood. The salesman we got stuck with was not honest, gave us the wrong dimensions for the furniture purchased, they refused to deliver within the promised time frame, TWICE!! When speaking to the store manager, I was given the run around and got absolutely nowhere. Stay away!

OH my BOB! (in my opinion) the crummiest job interview.........Vision Painting. Not because the interviewer was rude or anything it's just that the guy over booked, therefore the interview was 10 minutes or less and he had people in and out like a revolving door. Not to mention he sent the same email TWICE with the time block for interviewing AFTER I'd already been interviewed. My first thought was that I was not very impressive in the interview, but fortunate for me I knew one other lady in attendance and she informed me she'd received the same email, as well. It seems EVERYONE who'd applied was interviewed and he didn't keep tally of those he'd interviewed, previously, so the same mass email went out again. Talk about needing organization QUICK!
