Where can a relatively new Hoosier find a good hot dog around these parts?
Northeast side preferred, but I'm willing to go out of my way for someplace with slaw (and sweet tea ... but that's purely a bonus).
Try King David Dogs and Dyno Jax and let us know what you think.
Haven't been to Dyno Jax yet, but I love love love King David's. Delicious. I crave it every couple of weeks. Which reminds me, maybe I should go for lunch today. Yum.
I've had King David since it's easy walking distance from the office ... it's not bad, but the dogs are huge, not really used to that.
I know there's a Dyno Jax up next to Barnes & Noble on 86th ... might have to try that.
Dyno Jax was closed the other day when we tried to go! Does that mean its really closed, or was that just a blip on the screen? Being from Chgo. I was excited that a fellow-Chicagoan was serving up real dogs here!
Go out to Plainfield Indiana and try Woodfire Grill. They have a Black Angus Hot Dog. 10 1/2 inches long and it is THE best hot dog you have ever eaten. They also have a smaller dog.
