I pre-ordered my first Wii game of 2008, Mario Kart, as it just looks like too much fun to wait for a price drop like I normally do. I've been a Mario Kart fan since it came to the Super Nintendo years ago. There have been a hundred imitators over the years, but none live up to the original.

I don't think I'll use the silly looking steering wheel attachment, however. I don't see a reason to use it, as Excite Truck and other driving games are easier to play without the wheel. I imagine Mario Kart will be no different.

Anyone else looking forward to this game? This and Wii Fit are the only Wii games I'm definitely purchasing this year.
