That's what they're saying. It's supposed to be a surprise, but I suppose it isn't anymore. If you don't know, Zero Boys are a legendary punk/hardcore band from the early 80s:

and checking them out would probably be a good idea. They will be playing with the Cocaine Wolves who rock a lot:

and several other bands. So, there you go. The cat is out of the bag. Have fun.
Who is "They" that are saying this? I haven't seen the Zero Boys since '92 or '93. '92, I'm pretty sure. Would be fun to see them again. Is it the same line up? With Paul, Vess, Tuffy, and .. uh.. ummm. Dang.
I can't reveal my anonymous sources. I met one of them in a parking garage late last night. Let's just call him . . . Debby Does Dallas. Anyway, Debby Does Dallas is very reliable and can be trusted. In all seriousness, I gather that there is no longer any doubt. They are playing tonight. I'm not sure if the line-up has changed at all.
They are for sure playing the Naptown Juke Stomp tonight. I booked the show and was asked if they could play first as a practice for their show on April 19th in Austin, Texas.
The lineup is the same as it's been for quite a while. Paul, Tufty, Vess, and Mark.
They will go on @ 9:30pm sharp. Doors are 8:30pm and only 5 bucks.
Other bands on the bill tonight for the Naptown Juke Stomp 2: Go Diddle Yerself! are the following:
9:30 Zero Boys
The Cocaine Wolves
The Dockers
Action Strasse
Mandy Marie & The Cool Hand Lukes
Also there will be the Official Mandy Marie Leg Wrasslin' Competition along with the celebratin' our love of the Naptown Roller Girls!
So get there early, folks!!!!
The horse's mouth has spoken. Sounds like great fun.
The last time I saw them was beyond awesome. I will not be attending tonight but if you go I assure you it will be awesome + 1.
Lots of good stuff going on tonight. If you're goin' to be in Fountain Square it would be well worth it to check out Nat Russell's show at Big Car. Nat's stuff is great (particularly cool are the murals he painted on the walls over the past couple of days), and Lisa Choinacky's encaustic renditions of album covers (everything from D'Angelo, the Runaways, Michael Jackson, Pavement and The Cars) are must-see material.
Yeah, I was a lil' upset about just finding out about Nat's exhibit. He was a dear friend of mine back in High School and I really wanna see him. Unfortunatly, I will not be able to make my way over to his show. So if anyone goes there before the Naptown Juke Stomp tonight, please tell him that "The D.O.C." says howdy and to come over to Radio Radio.
