The Boggstown Cabaret Supper Club is currently seeking a Part-time Professional Pianist/Keyboardist to begin immediately. We are now accepting auditions for candidates whom fit the following skill-set.
The ideal candidate will love to perform and be proficient in a variety of musical styles, including jazz and pop standards from the 1900's through the present. He or she will have the ability to sight read, improvise, take solos, and hopefully be comfortable memorizing and transposing. It is extremely important to be bright, well-groomed, outgoing, and possess good stage presence. Theatrical experience is a plus. Candidates must be reliable and work well with others.
The World-Famous Boggstown Cabaret is located only 20 miles southeast of downtown Indianapolis. Now in our 24th year, we offer a unique entertainment experience featuring high-energy live music, comedy, and audience interaction with amazing food and drink. In addition to professionally performed vocals and drums, the piano and keyboards are a featured and integral part of every show. Our season runs from Valentine's Day through New Year's Eve with Lunch and Dinner Shows available by reservation every Monday through Saturday, and occasionally Sunday.
Due to the Cabaret only being open by reservation, the schedule of shows varies every week, but performers always know the schedule at least a month in advance. While this is a part-time position, with most weeks only having 1-3 shows, it would be necessary to be available for every show. Saturday shows are scheduled the most consistently throughout the year, and during some busier parts of the season, we can even have up to 7 shows per week. Opportunities for various paid outside gigs may also become available as we plan to create: BC Entertainment Group, a new performance and business venture beginning this year.
We offer generous compensation, possible benefits, and a great work environment. Housing accommodations could also be made available upon request. To arrange an audition, please contact Julie at 317-835-2020 or 1-800-672-2656. Resumes and head shots are greatly appreciated and can be e-mailed to cabaret@boggstown.com.

Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to hearing from you very soon!
Are you connected with the Cabaret? I only ask cause my dad and grandfather started it...
and because I lived upstairs of it from the time I was a newborn and for many years later I have a ton of crazy, fond memories!
I have been to the cabaret before, but one of my closest girlfriends, Julie Powers, is the lead singer there, and I also know Ross who is co-owner and Randy, who passed away last year. Randy was amazing - he was in the film "The Virginian" in 1946 as a little boy...is he related to you? He always told me the BEST stories and how he started a club out west with Micky Dolenz of the Monkees in the 60s....it's a great place, and if you know anyone who can play piano, they need one badly - their pianist left them high and dry and flew back home to Russia yesterday!!
No I am not related to Randy or Ross. My grandparents sold the Cabaret to them before they retired to Florida. I really need to go in some time, I am sure it is not how I remembered but would still be a great show!
