Sen. Barack Obama is bringing some star power to Indiana to encourage Hoosiers to register to vote.
Singer Dave Matthews, and his long-time collaborator Tim Reynolds, will perform in a free concert Sunday in Assembly Hall at Indiana University.
The deadline to register to vote is Monday.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are free to anyone with Indiana identification or an in-state student identification, and can be obtained at Obama headquarters in Bloomington, Indianapolis and Purdue.
In Indianapolis, the tickets can be obtained at the Obama office at 2 N. Meridian St. from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday.
For other locations and times, go to www.BarackObama.com/Dave
Anybody know more about this, I know it's two tickets a person, but it says admision is first come, first serve. So are they giving more tickets out than seats and it's just going to be a free-for-all?
Let the Dave bashing begin!!
I wish it was a good band playing for a good candidate.
Two tickets per person.
Thanks Dave, are the tickets GA? or do you know?
He just lost my vote.
