I know it is really easy just to list bad "horror" movies as bad movies, but these were truly the worst movies ever, no matter what the genre.

  1. Cabin Fever
  2. Jeepers Creepers
  3. Graveyard Shift

And as an aside, any of those spoof movies. i.e

Date Movie Meet the Spartans Epic Movie

They really frustrate me.

Cabin Fever has the "Pancakes" part, for that alone, it can't be the worst movie! Haha.

I'd say:

Battlefield Earth

Alone in the Dark

Son of the Mask

Honorable Mention: Kazaam

Any movie with Paris Hilton can be nominated too.

Nope, I didn't like Chicago. And it's not like I don't like musicals, but that one was just bad, bad, bad. I will never understand why it was popular.

Hated movies: Sweeney Todd (but I loved Chicago even though i didn't like the cast) The entire Beverly Hills Cop series, Sequels to The Matrix. Why? Why did they do that to such a great movie?

"What are youre top three worse movies"

Worse than what? I can think of a lot of movies that are worse than The Godfather II, but not many worse than The Godfather III.

Oh, You meant Top Three WORST movies...

  1. The Hound Of The Baskervilles, a comedy starring Dudley Moore. This was in the theaters for about 2 days back when I was a kid. Even as a preadolescent boy, I realized the humor was stupid and juvenile. It was that bad. Never seek this one out.

  2. National Lampoon Vacation Sequels - all of them might as well be the same movie, they all suck. I hope Chevy is being paid very handsomely to embarass himself so badly over and over. Pathetic.

  3. Forrest Gump. There, I said it. I hated this stupid tripe. I didn't like Forrest. That our country could fall so in love with a wilfully stupid man stumbling into historical importance should have served as a warning. Oh well.

AbominaNoel - you said it. Chicago. I found that one hard to fathom as well. It killed in the Oscar race, everyone lauding Zellweger et al as if they were visionaries. That movie was terrible. Had no heart or soul or style. But the most annoying thing was that it got all the acclaim for "bringing back the musical", when it was obviously Moulin Rouge that managed the feat the year before. (Say what you will about Rouge - it was a trifle over the top - but it was clearly better than Chicago.) Rouge is the reason a Sweeney Todd gets made. (Not sure whether that's a good thing or not.)

Oh, but really, worst movie ever? That's easy.

The Brown Bunny. Vincent Gallo - what a fool.

Great to see another Chicago hater! I mentioned my dislike for it in the Most overrated movies post.

Other movies I didn't like include:

Cube - I don't know if it was my mood that night, because some people I know liked it. I think it had a lot do to with the set never looking different. I was sooo bored.

Ultraviolet - The amount of inconsistencies and pointless plot changes in this one are incredible. Oh, and the CGI was extremely cheesy. I did end up laughing with a friend at how bad it was though, so it wasn't a horrible experience to watch.

Bewitched - OK, so I didn't make it through the whole movie. If after halfway, it somehow turned from pure crap to a decent movie let me know. What were Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman thinking?

I'm sure there are more that I saw awhile back that might be worse than these, but these are the ones that came to mind.

I haven't seen The Brown Bunny and refuse to after all the bad things I've heard. However, I have to admit that I did enjoy Buffalo '66. Vincent Gallo played an a-hole in that movie, which he supposedly really is, so perhaps that's why in my opinion it worked.

Looking at the source code of your large type, my guess is that you inadvertently changed your type to be an H1 style (header). My guess is that you put pound (#) signs in front of the numbers?

Indy.com uses a formatting code called Markdown (http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/dingus) to interpret how users want to format the type (although I've noticed a few inconsistencies, too.)

Without the pound: (1) worst movie of all time is no doubt "DROP DEAD FRED"

With the pound in front:

1 worst movie of all time is no doubt "DROP DEAD FRED"

To make the pound sign, you'd need to enclose it in backticks (the things that look like reverse apostrophes ... generally to the left of the "1"s on the keyboard).

#1 worst movie of all time is no doubt "DROP DEAD FRED"

I'm in complete agreement on Forrest Gump. Gump did not happen to me. I found no enjoyment in witnessing the shenanigans of an idiot. And all that tripe about the awesome special effects placing him next to historical figures . . . Orson Welles did that in Citizen Kane 60 years ago.

Carnosaur - I saw this on a rainy day while on family vacation. My IQ was temporarily halved by watching it.

Wicker Man - The Nicholas Cage version...never seen the original. Weird/bad acting, weird story, weird pace, and crap ending. And the DVD had an "alternate ending" that was actually just the original ending, cut short by 3 minutes.

Snakes on a Plane - Just because it's "supposed to be bad", doesn't mean it shouldn't get due credit for being suck-tastic.

The Ultimate Gift- I know it won a Heartland Film Festival award, but it was just way, way too cheesy, and the plotline did not make any sense. Still really bothers me that I was the only one in the room who hated it.

I've been subjected to many stupid kid movies as I used to be a nanny: Garfield: The Movie, The Master of Disguise, Baby Geniuses (1 and 2), Daddy Day Camp, Doogal

  1. The Fast & The Furious
  2. 2 Fast & 2 Furious
  3. The Fast & The Furious 3 (Tokyo Drift)

Those movies make alot of posers out of people. I swear I wish they would stop making them. The 4 installment due out soon is using a new 08 STi. I will be pissed if it actually does come true. The next time i hear someone say your car is fast and furious im gonna snap. The movie has ruined the scene.

-3. Anything with Ben Stiller in it.

-2. Independence day (basically anything with Will Smith in it)

-1. American Steel Cyborg Warrior or whatever the hell its called...one of the most sh1tacular movies i have ever seen. (i was smart enough to stay away from the fast and furious movies, or i am sure they would be on my list).

A lot of movies Ben Stiller has been in lately have been pretty bad, but I wouldn't put the following in a worst movies list: The Royal Tenenbaums, There's Something About Mary, Zoolander, Meet the Parents, Happy Gilmore

Goofy comedies, sure, and I wouldn't put these in a best movies list either, but they're not bad in my opinion.
