So I remember growing up here that one of the main things that was always said was "there's nothing to do in Indy!" Well finally I can swallow those words! This is such a great week to be in Indy and the greatest part about it is that it is possible to find somethign to do and not be repeatitive either.
Tonight is my show at the Casba! Tomorrow night is Roots Movement at the Jazz Kitchen- featuring some of Indy's best djs! It's also a birthday back for the Twin Peaks brothers - Kyle & Cam! Friday is first Friday, which is always one of my favorite events. Especially since Alias and Gnosis joined forces and the Murphy building! Plus one of if not my favorite local band is playing at Big Car: Thin Fevers!
Really what more could a girl ask for? Well except sleep but I guess I can do that when i die!
How could I forget to add the fact that Common is going to be at Clowes on Thursday!
Night 1 is done and if I may say so myself it was more than I could haved hoped and exactly what I was looking for! I can't wait to see what tomorrow night will be like!
Hey, if you go to the Common show let us know how it was! Please.
So its always funny to be out and what is considered a quiet night in Indy. I go to a show that has nothing but the best djs ( aside from Metalic) and no one is there. Then I randomly run into a friend and end up in a bar listening to Limp Biscuit. Yet the bar with real soul musius dead and the bar playing s--- is hopping! Maybe there really only corn in Indiana
good to see you and the lil ones! i hope it wasnt too loud.
Yeah, thanks for coming out. I will throw one of our shirt/cd boxes in my trunk for you. :)
