If there are any teachers out there on spring break wondering what to fix for dinner, here's a press release just for you:

Between Wednesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 9, 2008, any teacher (kindergarten through 12th grade) who lives within the Domino's of Central Indiana service area can receive a free, medium, one-topping pizza. All they have to do is stop by and pick up their pizza at their nearest Domino's. In order to receive the discount, teachers must produce a current and valid school ID.

All 49 locally owned and operated Domino's of Central Indiana stores will participate in the "Teachers' Spring Break Price Break" promotion. The offer is restricted to one pizza per household.

"The 'Teachers' Spring Break Price Break' promotion is just a fun, no-strings-attached way for local Domino's owners to show appreciation to the people in our community who work at one of the hardest, most important jobs but get the least amount of recognition for it," said Brian Ranft, Area Leader - Franchise Operations.

Free Pizza for teachers at Domino's not completely true!

I was excited to read the post by Jolene Ketzenberger for a free medium pizza at Domino's for teachers. I then called the Domino's at 62nd and Keystone to order. I asked if I could bring in my most recent pay stub (which is always what I've shown at other teacher events) for my valid teacher ID. The answer was no. I was told it had to be a photo ID which my township doesn't give out. When I asked if I could talk to the supervisor and was told that he wasn't there, I simply canceled my order. Thanks, but no thanks!
