as soon as i have more time i think i've found a new indy.com deathmatch! The_Only vs. Indy.
The_Only is a graphic designer living in Indianapolis. She likes turtles, long walks on the beach and a good read. Indy grew up in Iowa and now calls Indianapolis home. He doesn't like to say much and would rather express himself through photographs. These two will come to hate each other over the next 2 weeks if I have anything to say about it!

There's the slightest bit of friction left in there to try to cut down on that sort of thing slightly.
We like photos, and we're going to be seriously beefing up the photo sharing aspects of indy over the summer (though, most of basics are in there already: galleries, photos by tag, archive views of every photo in the system), but right now photos aren't the biggest thing on the site, so there's intentionally a little bit of friction there.
That said, we might revisit how many points a photo is worth or limit points to just venue/event photos sometime down the line.
Karma's a fluid thing and we're always tweaking it.
