Some people think Kathy's brand of comedy is nasty, but personally I think she's funny as hell. She mocks the absurdity of celebrity while indulging in it.
I remember a few years ago I was visiting some friends in L.A. After a few days, I was disappointed that I hadn't made any celebrity sightings. Because you know that's what people are going to ask you when you get home.
So on the way to a movie theater, we stop at a traffic light and Kathy Griffin pulls up in a Prius next to us. I didn't realize it was her; I thought it was just an attractive red-headed woman. She turned and looked at me and I smiled, and when she smiled back that's when I recognized her.
My other sighting happened a few minutes later, when I (literally) bumped into Rob Zombie in the men's room.
Some people think Kathy's brand of comedy is nasty, but personally I think she's funny ...
Yikes...bumping into Rob Zombie in the men's room...hopefully you were closer to the sinks or the door than the urinals. :)
Wow, thanks so much for the heads up about that presale code. I just saw the ad in the Indy Star today for her show. I don't really think of her as nasty, she just comments on how ludicrous the world of celebrity is.
Kathy is HYSTERICAL! I can't wait to see her.
