This little room in the, already, legendary Lazy Daze coffeehouse in Irvington is packed to the gills by 8 pm. You will hear the freshest poetry this town has. For those of you who remember the Lockerbie Coffeehouse poetry readings, you will love this one. The vibe is back (just without the smoking and instant emphysema setting in). The staff is friendly and the host, Ian Rossman, is a true warrior of poetry, often reciting e.e. cummings, Ginsberg or his own deep thoughts on life. it's free and open to all ages but there is a free speech rule. if you come, come with an open mind and an open heart.
