Have any of you seen the new mini-series John Adams, based on the Pulitzer Prize winner? It stars Paul Giamatti and has been on the last two Sundays. It is a high quality rendering of Mr. Adams' life and so far I am enthralled. It reminds me, albeit on a lesser scale, of the series Rome that HBO also made. If the quality of Rome is injected into this show then I believe all of you, especially history buffs, will enjoy this. Let me know what you think.

Yes and I'm impressed.Great lengths have been taken to make this epic. You can almost smell freedom, old wet leather and gun powder..and the occasional dead critter meal.

I've only watched the first episode so far, but I was completely taken in. It is a great production. My wife, who hates my history programs, is actually really enjoying it.
