Tickets for local appearances by two of music's biggest concert attractions go on sale this weekend.

Kenny Chesney will perform Sept. 13 at Lucas Oil Stadium, while the Dave Matthew Band will perform July 25 and 26 at Verizon Wireless Music Center.

Chesney tickets, priced from $29.50 to $99.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes, Gary Allan and Luke Bryan also are scheduled to appear. Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capitol Ave., will open this year as the new home of the Indianapolis Colts.

Dave Matthews Band tickets, priced at $75 and $40, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson will serve as supporting act for both dates at the amphitheater, 12880 E. 146th St.

In other concert news, Avril Lavigne and the Jonas Brothers will share a bill July 23 at Verizon Wireless Music Center. Tickets -- priced at $72, $56 and $34 -- go on sale at noon Saturday.
