Monday, 4/7 is an important fast-approaching deadline - it's the last day you can register to vote/change your voting address in order to vote in the 5/6 primary election in Indiana.
This election, like all elections is important! There are competitive races for President, Governor, and Congress. Make your voice heard! You don't have to declare a party affiliation when you register in Indiana. When you vote on 5/6, ask for the party slate that interests you. It's so easy!
The voter registration/change of address form, accepted by all 92 counties, is online: http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/pdfs/50504.pdf . To register to vote in Indiana, you must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years old on or before 11/4/08, have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days prior to 5/6 (except for certain military voters), and not currently be imprisoned after having been convicted of a crime.
If you have moved since the last time you voted, you may also use the application to do the mandatory transfer of your registration to your current address.
Do it soon! The Voter registration/change of address deadline to vote in the 5/6 primary is 4/7!
