It's gray and chilly outside and I could use a cup of coffee. But it's also lunchtime.
Which local coffeeshop has the best food? (I hesitate to include Cornerstone, since you can order off Moe & Johnny's great bar fare menu, or Patachou, since it seems to be known more for its food than its coffee these days, but you make the call.)
My current favorite coffeeshop sandwich is the terrific tuna and lox sandwich at Hubbard & Cravens (that comes from Scholar's Inn) that I had recently, along with my medium (okay, okay, my grande) coffee of the day. Plus, it comes with a banana or chips.
First place that comes to mind for me is The Abbey, although I did enjoy the atmosphere more when it was on Mass. Good food nonetheless.

I was going to say Taste Cafe, but it looks like you're already a fan. Other than that, true coffeehouses, I'd go with The Abbey as well. That foccocia chicken sandwich with pesto is damn tasty.
